Besidesamiracle is a nick selected for wikipedia use and takes its name from dialogue in the 1999 cult classic The Matrix.

Background[edit]

Neo and Trinity are members of a military organisation fighting against the machines for human emancipation. Their leader, Morpheus, is captured by the machines and Neo wants to rescue him. Their operator, Tank, warns him that the mission is suicide. However Neo is convinced it can be done though he tries to persuade Trinity not to come with him. She in turn is not convinced and decides to go anyway. Finally Tank gives in and agrees to the plan.

Actual Dialogue[edit]

Tank : Okay, so what do you need?...Besides a miracle..

Neo thinks about it.

Neo : Guns...lots of guns.

As he says this, hundreds of rows of assorted rifles appear, whooshing by Neo and Trinity as they stand in the centre.

Neo picks out a gun.

Trinity : Neo, no one has ever done anything like this.

Neo turns to look at her, holding the gun.

Neo : That's why it's going to work.
