Ola's Kool Kitchen is a radio show presented by DJ Ola.[1][2] The Kool Kitchen originally began broadcasting on the United Kingdom internet station Radio Nowhere, when the Kool Kitchen was conceived by DJ Ola as a reaction against mainstream radio's focus on playlists prescribed by major record labels.[1][2] At the present, the show is broadcasting on Radio23,[3] ErrorFM and Radio INDI, which is located in Puerto Rico.[4][1] The show features an eclectic range of music from all around the world, with established artists[5][6] and up and coming included, as well as unsigned musicians[7][8] from any time period. The Kool Kitchen frequently covers the Primavera Sound Festival[9] and the Lockstock Festival.

DJ Ola[edit]

DJ Ola also features similar artists that appear in the Kool Kitchen in periodicals. In addition, DJ Ola has an interest in promoting indie music from a non-Anglo/Eurocentric perspective.[11]
