Howdy My name is Amelia Racine and welcome to my user page. I am an undergrad student at Georgia Southern University. I am a new user of Wikipedia and so far i have enjoyed researching different sources to create my own article. I was introduced to creating articles on Wikipedia by my English teacher Dr. Hamilton and i am quite grateful for it. I would like to continue researching and writing more articles on subjects that have not yet been published by Wikipedia. I find it a challenge to find topics of interest that are not on wiki yet but that half the fun.

Life Passion

My passion in life would have to be music. Lyrics, melodies, and jams. My favorite type of music would have to be Jam Band. Some examples of artists from this genera would be The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic,Tea leaf Green, Phish, and Further.If i could live a successful life following bands and learning more music i would really be the perfect life in my eyes.

Technology

I am not the biggest fan of technology but i find it quite useful. I would love to say i could live without my phone but when it comes down to it i feel like i need my phone. In all reality i don't need a cell phone but i have come quite accustom to having one. Sometimes i feel lost without it..kinda sad huh. As for the internet...well the internet rocks! i can find all the albums,songs and artists i want. its very convenient. Overall technology rocks but the fact we have become slaves to it does not rock..not at all.

Well i was born..Isn't that enough? Kidding, I have made contributions to Chamblee High School,, We the people, the YMCA Leaders Club, and the Rivers alive Project.

Contributions to Wikipedia

I have one article on wiki which i am quite proud of. It is still being worked on but the over all completion of it should be finished by the end of the fall term. My article was on Dexfest Music Festival. You may find it to be a stub on Wikipedia for the time being. I will post dates later for you to take a look. I encourage all of you to read my article and leave any comments you would like. Im open for discussion. I have also done edits to the Wikipedia article The Craft. There were some slights grammar errors as well as needing a little more information.

Native tounge

My native language would be American English. I was born and raised in the United Stats along with my parents. In middle and high school i took french and didn't retain a damn thing. I can understand french being spoken depending on how slow they talk, but as for writing and speaking it well lets just say my french teachers were really nice and did a lot of work with me.

Philosophy on Wiki

I believe that everybody had the right to know about everything. That may seem vage but its true and Wikipedia has made that belief of mine a reality. Now wiki may not have information on EVERYTHING in the world but i bet if you go on Google right now and type in lets say Widespread Panic you will find it on Wikipedia. Oh and look "Widespread Panic" is highlighted blue. Hey doesnt that mean is a link in WP? How silly of me. What i am getting at is Wikipedia has articles on almost any subject you can think of. Finding information on Wikipedia isn't hard, it's finding whats not on wikipedia, thats the hard part.
