I live in Croydon, a large town in South London and the principal settlement of the London Borough of Croydon. I enjoy living there and I do not think I will be moving out any time soon. As I enjoy living there I am prone to getting a little bit excited when I hear it mentioned in any television programme, even if it is not mentioned in a positive way. As I enjoy its mentions I have decided compile the following list which shows television episodes where the town is mentioned. The list may never be fully complete but I would like to think that it will list enough to be useful and worthwhile. My criteria for this list is only mentions of the town in fictional programmes. It does not acknowledge television episodes that are filmed in Croydon without mentioning it, shows that are primarily set in Croydon and any mention in non-fiction programmes.
