How to pronounce 햄방이? It is easy. 햄방이 is made of 햄, 방, 이. 햄 is made of ㅎ(h), ㅐ(æ), ㅁ(m). 방 is made of ㅂ(b), ㅏ(a), ㅇ(ŋ - note : initial ㅇ has no sound while final ㅇ has ŋ sound). 이 is made of ㅇ(initial ㅇ has no sound), and ㅣ(i). Therefore, 햄 sounds like [hæm] and 방 sounds like [baŋ] and 이 sounds like [i].
So you can read 햄방이 as [hæmbaŋi]. Moreover, in most of dialects in Korean language used in South Korea, [æ] has merged with [e] sound into [e̞~ɛ]. So you can call me [hæmbaŋi](1750 ~ 1970 in seoul dialect, 1750 ~ now in Pyongyang dialect) or [hɛmbaŋi] (modern South Korean over age 40) or [he̞mbaŋi] (modern South Korean under age 40).
North Koreans or Korean Chinese are reading 햄방이 as [hæmbaŋi], while South Koreans over age 40 are reading 햄방이 as [hɛmbaŋi] and under age 40 are reading as [he̞mbaŋi].
