Udne Ki Aasha (transl. The desire to fly) is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that premiered on 12 March 2024 on Star Plus and streams digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. It stars Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora in lead roles.[1][2][3] The series is directed by Dharmesh Shah and produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary,[4] Radhika Srinivasan and B. Srinivasan for Rolling Tales Productions and Vikatan Televistas.[5] It is an official remake of Tamil Television drama Siragadikka Aasai that airs on Star Vijay.

Plot[edit]

The show centres on the unexpected marriage drama of Sailee, the eldest daughter of a lower-class family, and Sachin, an eccentric taxi driver struggling with alcoholism. They slowly understand each other. Their journey to self-improvement and togetherness, despite external pressures, is a testament to the enduring power of love.
