Tujerdi Rural District (Persian: دهستان توجردئ)[3] is in Tujerdi District of Sarchehan County, Fars province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Tujerdi.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Sarchehan District of Bavanat County) was 1,496 in 1,496 households.[6] There were 7,626 inhabitants in 2,076 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,337 in 2,224 households. The most populous of its 40 villages was Tujerdi (now a city),[8] with 2,021 people.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Sarchehan County and divided into the Central District containing Tujerdi Rural District, Sarchehan Rural District, and the cities of Hesami and the new capital, Korehi; and Bagh Safa District containing Bagh Safa Rural District and the new Arzhang Rural District.[9] The county was further divided later when Tujerdi Rural District was separated from the Central District to establish Tujerdi District, which was divided into two rural districts including the new Marvashkan Rural District. At the same time, Hesami Rural District was established in the Central District and the capital of the county was moved from Korehi to Hesami.[4]
