The Corby Sixth Form will be a state sixth form located in the centre of Corby, Northamptonshire, England. It will be the only institution in Corby solely dedicated to sixth form choices. The institution will offer a range of GCSEs, A-Levels and Technical Diplomas to 16- to 18-year-olds..[1]
Establishment[edit]
The Corby Sixth Form is due to open in September 2023. Part of Bedford College, the sixth form centre will offer much of the same provision that is available from The Bedford Sixth Form. The college was formally approved in September 2022 by North Northamptonshire Council with £9.5 million in funding coming from the Towns Fund, administered by the Government’s Department for Levelling Up.[2] The site of the college is the towns former library in the 1960s era Chisholm House. The site has remained largely empty since the library moved to the Corby Cube.
Construction and renovation started in February 2023.[3]
