Contrary[edit]

I have seen this line confuse users more than once:

"However, if you ever wish to do so, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name: simply request a new name here following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account."

Which I read as "Your name is fine, this is how you change it". By the time a user gets this template they should have already gotten the discussion template which explains how to change your name. I am going to remove this as I see no point in giving instructions that the user does not want to follow and should not have to(if they wanted to change their name they would have done so when they got the discussion or concern template). Link to page history[edit]

The link to the page history did not work for users with spaces in their names (see here for an example). Therefore, I have rewritten the template to link to the RFCN archive instead. Is he back? 15:57, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
