Recently created user:Pianist ru (either an SPA or a sockpuppet) has been going through and deleting only Abkhazia from articles and templates without discussion or rationale. Abkhazian Soviet Socialist Republic had a special status of a contractual republic. No other territory of the Soviet Union had similar status. The special status of Abkhazia is the core of its claims to independence. Thus, unreserved listing of Abkhazia among other SSRs means somehow supporting the independence of the territory. We probably should not do it. As I understand Pianist's command of English is somehow limited so he cannot comfortably participate in the discussions.
