Basis for this template?[edit]

Hello, @CarlDurose:! You recently created this template, and have added it to all sorts of hills in the region... but these are not the Malvern Hills in any sense I have ever heard. (I grew up near the Cotswold escarpment.) Since this seems to be the only purpose of the template, short of evidence that the Black Mountains are part of the Malvern Hills, the template should either be renamed as something like "hills of the lower Severn valley", or more simply deleted. Can you explain? Imaginatorium (talk) 10:15, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Imaginatorium:, I agree that the Black Mountains are certainly not part of the Malverns. I was actually using the list on this article Malvern Hills. I should have checked more thoroughly, apologies! CarlDurose (talk) 10:20, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(Spot the local convention for indenting) Sorry, I didn't look carefully, and thought this was a list of hills visible from the Malverns. It is actually a list of the Malvern peaks, so it is OK. I wonder though whether it helps to have an entry for peaks with no article. I haven't looked, but perhaps the "Black Hill" is so minor it is not article level. (To be honest I do not think that most of the separate articles genuinely add to the value of the encyclopedia.) Imaginatorium (talk) 14:25, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
