Thatcher dates[edit]
The dates for Margaret Thatcher's last 3 PPS were wrong all being 1988-1990. In fact Archie Hamilton held the post from just after the 1987 election until 1988 when he was promoted to be a Minister of State and was replaced by Mark Lennox-Boyd. Lennox-Boyd himself then held the office until the 1990 government reshuffle when he also was promoted and Peter Morrison took office as PPS. Morrison then remained in the role until November when Mrs Thatcher resigned as Prime Minister and was replaced by John Major who appointed Graham Bright as his PPS.
