Ali Al-Saachez[edit]

I moved him again from Innovators to A-Laws because I don't think he belongs under the former. He may report directly to Ribbons but that doesn't necessarily make him an Innovator. I think the Innovators are a much more exclusive group and even though Ali has surpassed being human in the words of Ribbons, I still don't think he belongs there.

What do you think? Shaneymike (talk) 20:08, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ali is NOT connected to the A-LAWS in any way. Also, he shouldn't be placed with the Innovators; according to Regene, "Innovator" refers to the type of artificial being that Ribbons, Tieria et al are. Even though he works under Ribbons, he's still human. So, for now, he belongs in none of the season 2 categories. 122.108.95.9 (talk) 21:47, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I put him under an "Independent" group because he keeps changing sides.
That's unnecessary. Ali already appears in the template, so there is no reason to create an "independent" category just for him. 122.108.95.9 (talk) 03:17, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed Ali from the Innovator category, because while he does refer to Ribbons as his "boss", the official website itself does not include him with the Innovators. Moreover, the term Innovator in Gundam 00 has only ever been used to describe the actual Veda bio-terminals themselves, and not the resultant group. Just a sun (talk) 07:11, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Like I was saying, shouldn't he be categorized under A-Laws? I mean we have Revive Revival listed under there as well as the Innovators. Why not Ali? Shaneymike (talk) 16:05, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because he's not in the A-Laws, and never has been. Revive Revival is an actual member of the A-Laws; he has a rank, he wears the uniform, he reports to Kati Mannequin, he acts with the A-Laws. Ali has at no point in the series shown himself to be affiliated with the A-Laws themselves in any way, so I have no idea where you're getting this idea from. Please explain why you believe that Ali should be categorized as an A-Laws member. Just a sun (talk) 14:46, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
After he destroyed Azadistan, it was incorporated into the Earth Sphere Federation. I thought because of that he was a member of A-Laws. Shaneymike (talk) 15:32, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He did it at the behest of Ribbons, though, which was clarified at the start of episode 5 when Ribbons said he was sending him out.
Also... I still don't think Ali should be in the Innovators category, because he is not an Innovator. Please see above for further reasons. Just a sun (talk) 23:02, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You'll have to take that up with SilentmanX. He is the one who keeps putting Ali back in the Innovators category, not me. Shaneymike (talk) 00:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He probably doesn't watch this template page. So why not talk to him on his user talk page? --staka (T) 04:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ali has allied himself with the Innovator since Ribbons is his client. SilentmanX (talk) 00:24, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Client is the innovator. This doesn't make Ali himself an innovator. --staka (T) 00:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

English Voice Actor for Ribbons Almark[edit]

According to the Anime News Network, Michael Adamthwaite plays the narrator. [1] Can somebody confirm whether or not he also plays Ribbons? After all, Tōru Furuya plays both roles in the Japanese version albeit under a different name for Ribbons. Shaneymike (talk) 14:52, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The reason I'm asking is that the Anime News Network hasn't confirmed that Trevor Devall and Scott McNeil play respectively Howard Mason and Daryl Dodge, but you can tell by listening to their voices. Shaneymike (talk) 14:54, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After listening to him speak in Episode 15 last night, I think it is Michael Adamthwaite. Shaneymike (talk) 14:07, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why are you talking alone in template talk when you're asking about a single character? Take it to the list of characters page to expand discussion next time. --staka (T) 20:12, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Innovator Merger[edit]

Since it appears that Bring Stabity is dead and he didn't have that big of a role, I'm wondering if maybe we should merge some of the Innovator articles - Bring, Healing Care, Revive Revival - like they did with the druggie pilots from Gundam Seed. See Template:Cosmic Era characters 2. Shaneymike (talk) 15:16, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why not just put back Bring Stability's information back to the list? Other innovators still have chance, in the second half of the season, to be more notable and have a bigger role. --staka (T) 20:53, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's true. Shaneymike (talk) 21:05, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
