What order?[edit]

What order or method of organization are the metropolitans in? I could not find any order of succession among them, beginning at the upper left, or ending in the lower right, and some in the middle are out of order too. How is it determined what order this list is in, and what utility does it offer in the present form? Elizium23 (talk) 05:43, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the list of "Metropolitans" is just a random list of bishops titled Metropolitan and not a succession list of Mar Thoma Metropolitans. True? Elizium23 (talk) 03:20, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Order is according to the consecration date. Do we need to include current list or historical list (Large Template) or keep historical list separate along with saints?J.Stalin S Talk 03:21, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Malankara Metropolitan and Metropolitan of other diocese are different.J.Stalin S Talk 03:22, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Elizium23: Do we need to include current list or historical list? J.Stalin S Talk 03:43, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There are three strikes against furnishing a historical list. (1) the list would grow too much to be manageable. (2) There would be constant partisan wars over how far back to go in history. (3) Too many redlinked articles. Elizium23 (talk) 03:58, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The current version is according to the Present Synod List. The Other list should be Split and Kept Separate Templates. So it will be easy to manage. J.Stalin S Talk 04:27, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is no reason to make a template of it. A simple list article will do. It would be easier to include redlinked entries on a list article. Elizium23 (talk) 04:29, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
