Hello to all other editors of this template, as its creator I am politely requesting that all other editors use the long style format of [Template:Metropolitan Borough of Sefton] when using it in articles as for some reason or other when the short style [Sefton] is used the edits made to the template do not show up on articles I know its the longer way of doing it but at least the edits made to the template show up on an article when you use the longer format, Thank You.

Categories[edit]

I have removed this template from Category:England city templates and put it in Category:Merseyside subdivision navigational boxes. Sefton is not a city and as it is a sub-division of the ceremonial county of Merseyside this would seem to me to be more accurate and appropriate. Dunarc (talk) 23:49, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
