State[edit]

As the template is fairly large, I'd like to change "state" to "collapsed". -- User:Docu

On articles to which it is relevant but peripheral it should be invoked as
{{Lago Maggiore | state = collapsed}}
On articles to which it is not peripheral, but seems a bit big, the answer is to expand the article, I think;) —Ian Spackman 20:59, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Even on the fairly long Lago Maggiore article, it takes up a lot of space, as it isn't collapsed yet. As all information is already available in the article and/or the infobox, there may not be much use to include it once more. -- User:Docu
I’m well aware of WP:OWN, don’t imagine that I have any authorial rights in the template or its usage, and won’t get at all upset if you are bold;) But The Lake Maggiore article is still pretty short for the topic it’s covering, badly needs both its scope and its depth expanding, and needs to be turned into prose. There is actually quite a lot in the navbox which is relevant and not mentioned or linked in the article. (Not to mention some obvious things, like the Stresa Conference, that aren’t mentioned in either.) By the way, if you add four tildes to your posts on talk pages (~~~~) you’ll get a proper signature. —Ian Spackman 14:41, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
