Series Title[edit]

Does anyone else find it odd that this series is referred to as the Excitebike series here on Wiki? The series has no "official" name but is pretty universally known as the Excite series when referred to by fans. In seeing the series discussed on places such as GameFAQs and NeoGAF, I've never once seen it referred to as the Excitebike series. Perhaps we should keep current with what the series is being referred to by amongst fans. SeiADP (talk) 22:45, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mario Excitebike in the Template[edit]

Mario Excitebike is a enhanced port of Excitebike, contained entirely within the Excitebike article. I suggest that it not be listed in the Template like all the other noticeably altered ports of Ecitebike, like Vs. Excitebike, and 3D Classics, and the Template be left to list what are considered to be the five "main" games in the series. That or I think the Template must be expanded to include all significant non-main games, which apparently wasn't preferable seeing how it was changed previously. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeiADP (talk • contribs) 19:07, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
