Hi Thriley, the original hook is longer than expected. Per Wikipedia:Did you know/Hook length it should be lower than 200 characters. You may try something like this:

*...that Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was fatally shot despite wearing a blue vest with "PRESS" written on it while covering a raid by the Israel Defense Forces in the West Bank?
