Connecting lines[edit]

I changed the column of most of the connecting link names as it looks rather odd with the arrows for the Tarka Line (and Riviera line) off to the right of the page while the arrow for the main line is to their left, even though the geographic position is the opposite.

I haven't immediately reverted the reversion, but I don't think the current situation is appropriate. Geof Sheppard (talk) 14:10, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Distances[edit]

While I recognise that the mile post change at Exmouth Junction can confuse matters, I disagree with the calculations of distances shown in this diagram. For example, according to my reading of the quoted reference, Exmouth Junction 170m 21ch from Waterloo and St Davids Junction is 172m 04ch . This makes them 1m 63ch distant, to which there is another 8 chains into St Davids station. This gives 1m 71ch or 1.8875 metric miles but the diagram currenlty shows 1.82 miles. There are some similar discrepancies further along the branch. Let me know if I have misread the mileages, otherwise I will correct the template shortly.
