Casual games

@Izno: @Woodensuperman: I propose to include also casual games in the Navbox. Those games exist, they are somewhat relevant and it might be useful information for the reader even if they don't have a separate article on en.wiki. The folks at the Village Pump told me to begin a discussion about those casual games here but they didn't tell me they must not be included as per Wiki rules.--Carnby (talk) 23:04, 11 March 2018 (UTC)

If they don't have an article, they should not be included, per WP:EXISTING, as navboxes exist to navigate between articles. WTAF. --woodensuperman 09:08, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

Although some red links are allowed in templates, especially if the article is likely to be written and the red link may inspire someone to do so. Not too many though, I've seen templates which list everything an author has written, an artist has painted, or a composer has composed, and those look pretty sloppy. Carnby, maybe pick a couple of few of the casual games and work up a stub article and then there'd be no disagreement about inclusion. Thanks for being interested enough to bring the topic forward. Alternatively, one way to indicate these games exist as films might be to add a line in the navbox as "Other works with VG adaptations", just to make it super clear that the reader will end up at an article that is not a video game article.

Other alternative: Think about re-sorting how all of these works are linked with navboxes. Splitting video games out of the core template seems really sub-par. --Izno (talk) 15:46, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
