Access date?[edit]

Wouldn't an "access date" parameter be useful here? Guettarda (talk) 15:49, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New APNI reference[edit]

Using the method given here no longer works. APNI has been changed.

Links of the form https://id.biodiversity.org.au/name/apni/107189 seem to be preferred now. Unfortunately the numbering seems to have changed. Maybe the template should have a new attribute such as 'apni-id', which could be used to generate the new link. Attribute 'id' should be deprecated, and old usages slowly converted? @Gderrin and Batternut: This is currently still working as a redirects, adding the alternative parameter for renumbering of pages, to bypass current push to their search page, is a good idea. Any reason we should not make this happen. cygnis insignis 06:43, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Cygnis insignis: I'm not knowledgeable enough to say but it sounds like a good idea. Thanks. Gderrin (talk) 06:50, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers. As a prompt to some one bolder, I wonder how transclusions I might break by editing this? cygnis insignis 07:42, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
