Team names[edit]

The names of the teams, specifically the "Western Force", "ACT Brumbies" and the "Fijian Drua", have all been cited in previous seasons as simply the "Force", "Brumbies" and "Drua", respectfully. However I was going by the Super Rugby formatting as published by SANZAAR/Super Rugby. In every fixture on the Super Rugby website, both the Western Force, ACT Brumbies and the Fijian Drua are cited as such (Western Force, ACT Brumbies, Fijian Drua), not the shortened version of their team names (Force, Brumbies, Drua). This can be seen at the official draw announced for the 2024 season (https://super.rugby/superrugby/documents/media-files/super-rugby-pacific-match-schedule-2024/) as well as the season ladder for 2023 (https://web.archive.org/web/20230718170725/https://super.rugby/superrugby/competition-stats/).
