  • ... that a federal judge ordered Indiana radio station WMCZ to choose another call sign after determining the likelihood of confusion with WMEE in the same area? Source: Smith, Brian (August 31, 1984). "Radio station responds to order by requesting new call letters". The News-Sentinel. (NewsBank source, available from me on request.)
    • ALT1:... that even the manager of Indiana radio station WMCZ confused it with WMEE, leading a federal judge to order the former to change its call sign? Source: Same as ALT0: "During a taped discussion with plaintiff's attorney ... the manager of defendant's radio station (WMCZ) was asked to give WMEE's slogan. The manager of WMCZ responded with the slogan used by WMCZ. The court finds that the defendant confused the word 'WMEE' with his own radio station of 'WMCZ.'
