Victor Jones (colonel)[edit]

Dummy tank of the sort used by Colonel Jones

  • Sources appear fine, hook is nice and quirky... but is Cheese intended to be a section - in which case it needs to have something in it, or else it needs to be removed? Also, not a DYK issue, but any chance of an infobox template being added, and I'm not too sure about the article name - I've not seen WWII used a suffix before, I would have thought something like "Major" or "Soldier" would be have been more appropriate, but happen to hear opinions. Note that if this isn't cleared by the 1st, then someone else will have to re-review otherwise you'll be waiting another two weeks for me as I'm going away on holiday. • I removed that heading - it will be a section but the source I needed is still coming. I also moved the page to use (colonel) - WP:MILHIST doesn't have any firm advice but this seems to be their convention. In terms of the infobox; no, I don't much like them and in this case very little of the sorts of info used in the infobox is known about Jones. So it would essentially be a blank box with a title :) --Errant (chat!) 09:21, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
      • No worries, the infobox is only one of my preferences. This all meets the criteria and is good to go. Miyagawa (talk) 10:11, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
