Theo Müller[edit]

  • ... that billionaire Theo Müller was kidnapped at gunpoint, jumped out of the car and was back at work the same afternoon?

Created by Edwardx (talk). Self nominated at 23:56, 2 March 2015 (UTC).

  • Created from redirect on February 23. 1924 characters long, and thoroughly cited. Need a different hook though, using one about a kidnapping attempt would put "undue emphasis on a negative aspect of a living individual." QPQ also needed. hinnk (talk) 19:10, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • QPQ done. I don't see how this is negative. If he went back to work the same afternoon, it is reasonable to infer that Müller does not view his kidnap and subsequent escape negatively. I'd guess that he's quite proud of his escape. Edwardx (talk) 20:03, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • The reference quotes him as saying, "For a year I went round slightly afraid that it could happen again", so I don't think we can say it wasn't in some way a negative experience. Perhaps something about how his company only had four employees when he took over? hinnk (talk) 21:00, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks - that's a good point. And a great idea for an ALT1 hook. I'll do one shortly. Edwardx (talk) 22:24, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • ALT1 below. Edwardx (talk) 23:25, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that since Theo Müller inherited Müller in 1971, it has gone from employing just four people to over 20,000?
  • All set! 143 characters, cited to Mueller Group in the article. Struck out the original hook. Also, it might be worth explaining what Müller is (e.g. ALT2): hinnk (talk) 23:34, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
  • ALT2 ... that since Theo Müller inherited Müller in 1971, the company has gone from employing just four people to over 20,000?
  • Thanks. You could even add "dairy" in front of "company" in ALT2. Edwardx (talk) 23:41, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
