Substantial interesting article, on excellent sources, subscription sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and shows clearly. How about mentioning that she led personally in battle? I am not sure if her name should apear with Hawai'ian apostrphes here (article lead) and without there (hook). I suggest you go for GA. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:31, 5 December 2019 (UTC)

@Gerda Arendt: How is this? It has just become a GA. The variant with the Tahitian eta is included at the intro along with variant without eta. KAVEBEAR (talk) 07:29, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

I'd put it the other way around, because "pictured personally" made me read twice ;)
ALT1a ... that Queen Teriitaria II (depicted) defeated a French invasion force during the Franco-Tahitian War and led her people into battle?
For background, to have the war first would be even better, but I'd prefer to start with her.

ALT1b ... that Queen Teriitaria II (depicted) defeated a French invasion force during the Franco-Tahitian War and led her people into battle wielding a musket and a saber?
@Gerda Arendt: How is this instead? KAVEBEAR (talk) 10:42, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
I think in this case, more concise is better, but let the prep builder decide. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:45, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

Promoted with ALT1a tweaked to read "that Queen Teriitaria II (depicted) led her people into battle and defeated a French invasion force during the Franco-Tahitian War?" Grammatically cleaner, I think. Montanabw(talk) 17:53, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
