• New enough, long enough, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen in online sources. I added URL links for some of the books that are online to verify the information. I have a question about whether Sing is his given name or surname; that should be clarified in the DEFAULTSORT line and perhaps added to the top of the page. QPQ done. The hooks aren't so hooky, because readers won't know who Sing Rattanasamai is and probably won't care unless you grab their attention with something interesting. • Some other editor familiar with DEFAULTSORT added that attraction. I must admit that name order in Laos is problematic, so far as my sources go. General Oriental custom is family name first, personal name after. However, even though my sources refer to him as "General Sing", the elite families of Laos are commonly referred to by their second name. It is uncertain if the Rattanasamais are such a family. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sananikone_family for an example of this naming practice.)
• As for the hooks...well, he's not too exciting a guy. ALT2 is probably as lively a hook as can be found. I am going to strike the others and add one more.Georgejdorner (talk) 18:24, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
