Nostos: The Return

  • ... that all dialogue in the film Nostos: The Return is in a made-up language based on ancient Greek, Sanskrit and Latin? Source: Lapeña Marchena, Óscar (2018). p. 101 "As has been indicated above, these dialogues are inspired by languages that were spoken in the ancient Mediterranean, though more precisely they are a mixture, created by the director, of words and sounds of classical Greece, with the Greek from Thessaly prevalent over the Ionian dialect. Sanskrit and Latin are also embedded in this eclectic language."

  • Very good entry! All neutrally written and referenced where required; new enough and long enough. AGF for sources. The first hook was enough to make me want to read the entry! Innisfree987 (talk) 18:59, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
