Myth III: The Wolf Age[edit]

  • ... that the video game Halo was originally going to be a sci-fi clone of the developer's other franchise, Myth?
  • ALT1: ... that along with the release of the video game Myth III: The Wolf Age, the developers issued Vengeance to the Myth community – Vengeance being the name of a program that adds user content to the game?
  • ALT3: ... that the developers of Myth III: The Wolf Age directed their Vengeance at the modding community?
  • ALT2: ... that after creating video game mods for Myth II, hobbyists were then hired by the publisher to help develop Myth III: The Wolf Age?
  • ALT4: ... that the developers of Myth III: The Wolf Age turned their Fear & Loathing into Vengeance for the modding community?

  • Note: Another hook may be preferable, as the article is not about the franchise itself, but an installment. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:18, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
  • I thought about this a bit before the nomination. In 2001, Halo was being developed as well as Myth III. Since Myth II used low graphical sprites, the beginnings of Halo were most similar to Myth III. In any case, I've added two other hooks which I feel are just as good or even better. --Odie5533 (talk) 15:49, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
  • I like it! I wasn't sure how playful I could be with the DYK, so mine ended up being a bit reserved. --Odie5533 (talk) 16:29, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
  • Hook: Like ALTs, original is misleading. Short enough, interesting enough, I have another. ALT4 ... that the developers of Myth III: The Wolf Age turned their Fear & Loathing into Vengeance for the modding community?
Article: Long enough, new enough, no image, neutral. Most heavily cited to an offline source, AGF on that. Spotcheck is fine.
Summary: Just requesting feedback on the new alt. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:32, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
Sounds good. --Odie5533 (talk) 12:50, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
