Mycena atkinsoniana[edit]

Mycena atkinsoniana

  • ... that the mushroom Mycena atkinsoniana (pictured) will "bleed" yellow-orange juice when injured?

  • Not quite the Lynchian nightmare mushroom I was expecting. One minor point; I'm sure you're going to eventually cover Mycena atkinsonii given the fact that you're a mushroom machine, but until then, it's a bit off-putting to see a red link in a hatnote like that; any chance of creating the page as a redirect to a broader article for the time being, so that it'll point somewhere until such time as it's created in full? Aside from that we're good to go; though perhaps File:Mycena atkinsoniana 25080.jpg might be a better image as it demonstrates the hook fact much more clearly. GRAPPLE X 05:30, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks for the review. I stubbed the redlink. As for the picture, either (or none) is fine with me. You're correct that the other picture more clearly illustrates the hook, but perhaps there's some argument in enticing the reader to click on the article to see if more "gory" pics will be revealed? • That's a fair point. I don't really mind which is used, so if you prefer the present one then it has my backing. GRAPPLE X 06:19, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
