Maslama ibn Hisham

  • ... that the capture of the southern caverns of Cappadocia and Ancyra by Maslama ibn Hisham c. 739 marked the Umayyad Caliphate's last territorial gains against the Byzantine Empire? General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation

QPQ: No - Not done
Overall: New enough and long enough. Well-sourced and seems neutral and free of plagiarism (Earwig's Copyvio Detector stands at 7.4%). Hook interesting and cited here. I added a piped link to Ankara in the hook to avoid having a redirect. Once the QPQ is done it would be good to go. An additional comment - I see that the capture of Ankara by Maslama ibn Hisham is not mentioned in the History of Ankara or Timeline of Ankara articles. Perhaps this info could be added there as well? Xwejnusgozo (talk) 01:00, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

@Xwejnusgozo: Good point, I added it to the Ankara article. The QPQ has also been done now. Cheers Al Ameer (talk) 03:53, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the improvements - it's good to go now. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 08:16, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
