Manuel Antonio Caro[edit]

The Zamacueca

  • Pretty good article - well written and nicely illustrated. The intro is a bit short though - could the nominator please add a bit more? (see WP:LEAD for guidance). Also, I'd suggest an alternative hook, which sticks closer to the source, as follows. Prioryman (talk) 10:12, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
  • ALT2: ... that Manuel Antonio Caro is classed among Chile's best-loved artists for work such as The Zamacueca (pictured)?
  • Article is new enough, big enough, cited throughout, no infringement found. Hook alt2 is in the article, cited, and confirmed by reference. Image is public domain and so can be shown. if Prioryman is happy this is good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:50, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Thank-you both for reviewing. Lead is now a bit longer as per Prioryman's request. I'm fine with the revised hook, just didn't want to paraphrase the source too closely. — Sctechlaw (talk) 12:50, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
  • That's fine, thank you. Continuing the review, I agree with Graeme that it's new enough, big enough and well cited, as is the hook, and the image is good as well. I'm happy with it. Prioryman (talk) 12:59, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
