Koahou[edit]

Artemas Bishop, 1857

  • ... that American missionary Rev. Artemas Bishop (pictured) blamed the low church attendance in Hilo on the hedonistic behavior of high chief Koahou?
  • Reviewed: John Breckinridge (Virginia and Kentucky)
  • Comment: The image is in the process of being cropped and cleaned, so please refresh at a later time. It should only show Rev. Bishop's face. I will add the picture to the article at that time too.--KAVEBEAR (talk) 09:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

  • This article is long enough and new enough. The image is in the public domain and looks to me to be identical to the one in the article. The hook fact is mentioned in the quotation given from the book source. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 14:07, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
