KFNB

  • ... that an attempt to sell Wyoming television station KFNB dragged on for more than three years and ended with the station off the air for nine months? Source: [1], [2], [3]
    • ALT1:... that KFNB in Casper, Wyoming, is named for a prospective owner whose purchase attempt ended in default and the television station going off the air for nine months? Source: (same as above)

  • New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. The copied text has been 5x expanded in this article, satisfying Rule A5. I'm afraid I don't find either of the hooks so hooky, and am unable to find hook facts from ALT1 about the name and the nine months in the article. QPQ done. Yoninah (talk) 18:14, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Added a mention of the 9 months, but it does get to be kinda mathy and a bit of a dashed line (the call letter change came in the middle of the sale and there's no other thing they could possibly stand for). I do have a potential ALT2 candidate? Raymie (tc) 22:28, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that while management of Wyoming television station KFNB claimed transmitter trouble as the reason for going off the air, a former reporter announced that all staff had been laid off? [4]
  • Thanks, let's do that. ALT2 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT2 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 22:47, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
