  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the hook seems to be telling the whole story and not giving me any reason to click on the page. Have you considered ending it after the first clause? There is a bit of irony in an "intelligence" building not having any windows.

The irony is that, though you'd expect an intelligence building to have no windows, they actually went out of their way to add them later. Maybe something like the following? Antony–22 (talk⁄contribs) 02:36, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
  • @Antony-22: thank you for the alt. But I'm having trouble finding the hookiness in it; it sounds like a description from Architectural Digest. If you could tell me why it's hooky in the hook itself, it would be better. I might also suggest:

@Yoninah: I think it's the change from no windows to windows that's interesting; just being built with no window is by itself kind of quotidian IMO. I'm happy for the promoter to choose whichever one they think is better. Antony–22 (talk⁄contribs) 01:44, 29 November 2019 (UTC)

  • @Epicgenius:@Antony-22: I don't see anything about windows in the sources in footnotes 3, 5 and 6. Neither "classified work" or "secrecy" is verified by these sources. Yoninah (talk) 21:45, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
  • For windows, it's sources 3 and 6 (both on p. 2). Source 3 supports Abert Hall being without windows, and source 6 supports the other two halls being without windows. "Fenestration" is another word for windows, so that's what I looked for, and that's what shows up. For classified ops: source 3 p. 2 says "classified" explicitly, source 5 p. 2 supports Army Map Service, source 6 p. 2 supports Defense Mapping Agency.
