  • (edit conflict) We have a significant problem. The phrase "instill faith and optimism in people" is a direct quote of material in reference 1. It has to be quoted in the article, and while it could be quoted in the hook, it isn't Rahman's direct words, so it could give the wrong impression. Can a new hook be devised that doesn't use the exact words of the Times of India article? (Note: I made some formatting fixes to the previous hooks before I discovered this problem; be sure to retain them going forward.)
PS: If you want this to be a lead hook—and there's no guarantee it would be regardless—it can't run on the day and shouldn't go into the special holding area. If you want it to run on the day, then it's up to the admin where it goes, though I would be very much against it taking over the lead slot. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:00, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

  • The most important thing right now is to fix the article. You can quote the phrase there if you want, or paraphrase it—what I found interesting was how many sources use the exact phrase "instill faith and optimism in people", yet it wasn't a quote in any of them. I wonder if it might be taken from a press release. Even so, we have to do the right thing and either quote it or make it not a close paraphrase. There's also another exact quote that needs paraphrasing, "industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his philanthropist-wife, Nita Ambani for the project." I'll see if I can come up with an idea for what to do with ALT3; I don't think "to have faith and optimism over" is a good paraphrase or substitute, and am wondering if perhaps I was wrong about replacing "instill faith and optimism in people" given its ubiquity in the press articles. Here's an ALT2a, which is the same as ALT2 above but with the added quotes (which would require the exact quote in the article as well):

  • That's good. I'll strike ALT3 then. I've fixed that "instill faith and optimism in people" quote issue in the article, but you really need to do something about the article's Ambani sentence that I mentioned above; right now it's a copyvio, which is not allowed. Also, you haven't said whether you prefer the article to run as a non-lead hook in the next set, or run on some future day so it can have a shot at the lead hook (which depends entirely on the whim of the person making up the set). I have fixed Ambani issue as well. And, I am ok with any admin decision. If 21st is not possible, then lead hook on 22nd would also be ok (which I know is not assured thing). I will leave up to admin. - Vivvt • (Talk) 03:35, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Not really... But I'll give review (without adding icons): picture is already in the article, might be relevant to the article, and looks good. The non-free image already has the artist in the cover art, so it will be likely removed from the article anytime due to space. You can remove "(pictured)" if it will not be a lead. --George Ho (talk) 22:53, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
