History of British Birds[edit]

Woodcut of Great Bustard by Thomas Bewick

Created by Chiswick Chap (talk). Self nom at 20:23, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

  • – Article: new and long enough; no sign of copyright violations or plagiarism (after checking a few online sources). I think image gallery (or "Woodcuts" section) should come before "Notes". Hook: interesting, properly formatted and cited with an in-line citation in the article. Jane Eyre (character) should be linked in hook not Jane Eyre. Book wasn't obviously thrown at another book. Image: PD-image, but it's not the "book" itself which is pictured here, it's a woodcut from the book. — Bill william comptonTalk 06:20, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
Hook tweaked to link to Jane Eyre (character). Woodcuts moved above Notes. Stated 'Example woodcut' not just 'Pictured'.Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:24, 16 January 2013 (UTC)
