Hermes Press[edit]

* ... that Hermes Press is one of the few publishing companies to Photoshop some of their publications?

  • Comment: Not a self nomination

  • This still needs a full review, as my comment is only related to the hook. First, the article doesn't claim that Hermes Press is "one of the few publishing companies to Photoshop some of their publications". Second, the claim that Hermes Press uses photoshop is unsubstantiated in the source. In fact, the source doesn't make any mention of retouching. My impression from reading the source is that a new series is being created that will look something like an old one. Ryan Vesey 21:40, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • OK, how about Alt 1: that Hermes Press has published over 100 titles in the last ten years? Thanks, Matty.007 18:11, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
  • While that fact is included in the article I cannot find where it says that in the given source. On a more minor note the publication titles need to be properly formed (italicised rather than in single quote marks). Everything else checks out. violet/riga [talk] 19:02, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Adding sig to above comment, periods to the beginning of ALT2, and striking original hook and ALT1 due to issues raised. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:18, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

There are still problems with the references in this article. Ref #1 (Den of Geek) is used six times but does not corroborate most of the facts it is used to support. Ref #2 does not mention Hermes Press. The hook fact appears to be supported by the Chronicle Chamber reference but it is currently malformed in the article. violet/riga [talk] 13:54, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
I removed paragraphs where alternative sources to Den of Geek couldn't be found, but I found #2 to be backing up the year, which I think is OK. I also fixed the hook supporting reference. Is it OK now violetriga? Thanks, Matty.007 14:31, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for all the work that you've done so far and my apologies for the delay. I think there are still a few problems with the referencing, such as the final sentence of the lead where only two of the titles listed are backed up by the sources. The middle two paragraphs in the Comics History section are unreferenced as well. I'm sure that we're close now though! violet/riga [talk] 18:41, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Fixed issues (please note: Hermes Press URLs don't all work, so I only get the home page, instead of the pages I am looking at). Thanks, Matty.007 18:50, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
OK - great work from Matty.007 means that this is now ready. violet/riga [talk] 19:15, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
