Hook eligibility:

QPQ: Done.

Overall: Very recent—nice work updating this fast. The ALT1 hook reads more smoothly than the main hook. But both hooks suffer from WP:OVERLINKING: normally, linking well-known countries is not recommended on the English Wikipedia. (To my surprise, some other wikipedias, like the Dutch one, still maintain this rather dubious practice.) If you insist, you could just link Andorra and Monaco, but even those would be distracting from the main subject. A second recommendation is to include expat or a synonym to clarify that the voters are emigrated from France. When these two issues have been fixed, I am okay with both hooks, though preferring the ALT1. Farang Rak Tham (talk) 00:03, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

  • I've attempted to address both concerns. Mélencron (talk) 00:05, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
