  • Hi, I came by to promote this, and added some more detail from the source about which American president decorated him. Where does it say in your article that Hitler decorated Halder? Yoninah (talk) 20:17, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
  • @K.e.coffman: yes, I saw the sentence in Smelser that Hitler decorated Halder. Could you add that Hitler was the one who gave him the Knight's Cross in the article? Yoninah (talk) 00:51, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

  • Right. But a reader who clicks on the article to read more about "decorated by both Adolf Hitler and an American president" would have learned nothing more about either award, or even who the American president was, the way you originally wrote the article. I added the fact that it was Kennedy who decorated him with the Meritorious Civilian Service Award. I would like you to add the fact that it was Hitler who decorated him with the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (or maybe it was his representative?).
