Enlil[edit]

  • ... that Enlil, the chief god of the Sumerian pantheon, was regarded as so glorious that not even the other deities could look upon him? Source: "He was regarded as so glorious that even the other gods could not look upon him.[18][19]"
    • ALT1:... that, in ancient Sumer, kings from all across the land would travel to the temple of Enlil in Nippur to be legitimized? Source: "Rulers from all over Sumer would travel to Enlil's temple in Nippur to be legitimized.[22]"

Improved to Good Article status by Katolophyromai (talk). Self-nominated at 00:44, 16 February 2018 (UTC).

  • New enough (promoted within a week of DYK nom), long enough, hook well-cited. Issues adequately addressed in the GA nom. Prefer the first of the two hooks. User only has one DYK credit so QPQ is not a requirement. Good to go. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 01:32, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
  • TRM slapped an unsourced section tag on the Family Tree section, so either that will have to be sourced before this article is featured or else the section will have to be removed while the article is displayed on the main page. Gatoclass (talk) 14:18, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

Pinging Katolophyromai. Gatoclass (talk) 14:21, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

@Gatoclass: I have removed the family tree. I do not believe it can be referenced, because it is actually a template and is not part of the actual text of the article. --Katolophyromai (talk) 14:28, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
That was a quick response Katolophyromai! As it happens, I already replaced this nomination in the queue, so I will promote this one to another prep a little later. Sorry for the inconvenience. Gatoclass (talk) 14:41, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
@Gatoclass: That is fine. I do mind. I am still trying to figure out how this whole DYK thing works. I think my nomination for the article Pythagoras has been neglected because I nominated it before Enlil, but it still has not been promoted to prep. I am not sure if it has been reviewed or not because a user has written extensive feedback on it, but I am not sure how to tell if a user is reviewing an article or just commenting on it. The whole process is rather confusing, but I think I am starting to sort of understand it. --Katolophyromai (talk) 18:46, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
