Diploria labyrinthiformis[edit]

In my view this article is very sloppily written and needs improving. I know it is difficult to write an article from a limited amount of available information without close paraphrasing. I have made a few alterations, but consider this.
- Source - "D. labyrinthiformis is host to symbiotic dinoflagellate algae called zooxanthellae. These zooxanthellae are supplied with protection and nutrients from the coral animal, while the coral is supplied with nutrients and energy for calcification and growth."
- Article - "Diploria labyrinthiformis hosts Zooxanthella, symbiotic dinoflagellate algae. The coral supplies this algae with nutrients and protection. In return, the algae provides with nutrients and the energy growth and calcification."
- The final sentence in this example is a jumble and does not even convey the same meaning and, by the way, the singular of "algae" is "alga". Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:25, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
