Article length, date and compliance with policy check out - nice work. I think the hook could use some work though - having a Facebook page is probably not very unusual for cats and fan pages lasting past death is the norm... I would suggest something on his celebrity and/or on the media circus after his death. --ThaddeusB (talk) 00:55, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

While the hook's length isn't too long, I'm going to suggest a slight rewording as the dangling despite being a cat sounds a bit awkward:

ALT2: ... that when the cat Buurtpoes Bledder (pictured) died, his death was covered in national news, including SBS 6 and De Telegraaf?
