Criteria
Barnstar points should always be awarded over trivial items. Use a barnstar point when you want to thank someone for something without (cough) degrading the value of the original barnstar. Initially introduced by SMcCandlish (talk · contribs) about a funny edit summary.Once you gain five barnstar points, you can exchange them for a real barnstar at your local bootleg Barnstar Brigade store.
Usage
To use this Barnstar template, create a new section on the user talkpage of the user you want to give the award to, and add {{subst:Barnstar point|1=Put your message here. ~~~~}}
to the talk page of the user to whom you wish to award it.
