I'm thinking about changing the photo back to the original. Granted, the photo wasn't 100% perfect, but BrianIgmac's readjustment makes it too green. Thoughts, anyone? Magnetic Rag (talk) 02:36, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Various problems with this article[edit]

- Reference 1 shows a different recipe than on the website — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.194.197.215 (talk) 19:53, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Its smooth, fruity taste works to conceal its extremely high alcoholic content."

- Isn't this a bit too editorial?

"For many years the Don the Beachcomber restaurants limited their customers to two Zombies apiece."

- Citation??

"According to the original recipe, there are the equivalent of 7.5 ounces (2.2 dl) of alcohol in a single Zombie;"

- Citation? What is the original recipe? And when the writer says "alcohol", does that mean absolute alcohol, or liquor?

"... cocktails made with a fairly generous 2 ounces (0.6 dl) of alcohol ..."

- "Fairly generous" is too editorial
- And again with the "alcohol". After reading this I suspect the writer meant "liquor".

re: Actual Recipe

Does anyone put any stock into Doc Cocktail's recipe, found in his book Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails? He claims that it was the actual recipe f, brandy/apricot/papaya adulterated potion detailed here.
