ZrOCl2[edit]

I propose that this article be strongly rewritten because the authentic ZrOCl2 is very rare and doubtful notability. In addition to its other names zirconium oxychloride, zirconium oxide dichloride, zirconyl chloride refers to CAS 22196-48-1, a hydrate of [Zr4(OH)12(H2O)16]Cl8, sometimes written ZrOCl2·8H2O and Zr(OH)2Cl2·7H2O. We can just mention that ZrOCl2 is rare and focus the article on the heavily studies salt of the tetraZr hydroxocation.--Smokefoot (talk) 14:13, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
