Zen Centres and temples[edit]

Zen Centres are not temples, but often contain meditation areas and accommodation. Some also operate temples - for example the San Francisco Zen Center's 'Green Gulch Farm' campus is also the 'Green Dragon Temple' (Soryu-ji), and training monasteries (eg. the San Francisco's training monastery 'Tassajara' - the first Zen training monastery outside Asia). The San Francisco Zen Center was the first 'Zen Center' and coined the term (which is evidenced in an early edition of their publication 'Wind Bell' and other sources. See their website for confirmation (www.sfzc.com). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.155.39 (talk) 14:49, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page title capitalization[edit]

I have moved the article from the title 'Zen Center' to 'Zen center'. A quick look through Google Books results suggests that reliable sources capitalize 'Center' only when it is part of a proper name; in almost every other instance, it is not capitalized. See [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]. -- Black Falcon (talk) 19:28, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
