Draft article[edit]

Resolved

On behalf of African Parks via the Wyss Foundation, and as part of my work at Beutler Ink, I am submitting an expanded and updated draft of this article for community review. You can view my proposed draft here.

The current article looks developed, at first glance, but this is somewhat deceiving. Reference #2 is a press release, Reference #4 is a photographer's personal website, and Reference #5 is website belonging to a film production and design studio. In other words, sourcing is less than ideal, and I think the details worth keeping have been included in the proposed draft. I'm looking for a volunteer editor who is willing to review the draft and copy over content appropriately, and of course I'm fine with someone integrating existing content into the draft, or vice versa.

I've worked to create an accurate, neutral, and sourced overview of the park, its wildlife (including the elephant population), history, and tourism, similar to articles for other parks. I admit, there are possibly too many elephant population statistics in the draft, but numbers fluctuated based on sourcing, so I wanted to provide as much information as possible for editors to consider, and I'm certainly open to suggestions or trims. African Parks has provided feedback to ensure accuracy.

I seek uninvolved editors to review the draft for accuracy and neutrality, and hope they'll conclude that the proposed draft is a major improvement over the existing article. @Chetsford: You were very helpful with the Liuwa Plain National Park article, and I wanted to bring this one to your attention as well, if you're interested.

As a reminder, this edit request is part of a series to create and expand several Wikipedia articles related to African Parks. You can learn more here: User:Inkian Jason/African Parks. Thank you. Inkian Jason (talk) 22:10, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done Noting the declared COI, I've replaced this article with the draft version on the basis that it is significantly better sourced and in substantially better shape. There does not appear to be any activity or debate on the Talk page that would lead me to believe this would be controversial or interfere with other activity occurring on this article. @Chetsford: Thanks again for your help. I'll have 3 or 4 more drafts for review in the coming weeks. If you're open to reviewing similar content, I'll ping you when I have those ready. Inkian Jason (talk) 01:04, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's fine. Chetsford (talk) 01:46, 30 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
