Sourcing[edit]

This article needs to cite a few references, of course. And maybe some expansion on the couple's history.Flyer22

Proposed deletion[edit]

I have placed a {{prod}} tag on this article, as I don't believe it meets guidelines for a supercouple. Can anyone provide sources that this couple has won awards, or is genuinely notable outside of the fan community? --Elonka 16:26, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm going to try and work on this article. If you still feel that it can't stay, Elonka, of course do as you must. Flyer22 05:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Need a little time to improve this article. I removed the deletion proposal based on this. If the changes I make to this article still fail this article's position for inclusion, then by all means...delete this article, if necessary. Flyer22 03:09, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Updated article[edit]

I gave it a complete overhaul. Flyer22 19:37, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: not moved. Proposed title created as a redirect. Jenks24 (talk) 15:45, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Zach Slater and Kendall HartKendall Hart and Zach Slater – No matter how commonly used any name is, Kendall went first by appearance. Although both Kendall and Zach are equally prominent characters, Zach was created partially as Kendall's love interest. And not every male should be first in the title. George Ho (talk) 22:52, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Against the move. When it comes to titling an article, WP:COMMONNAME (except for rare exceptions) is what matters, not either of the characters' individual popularity. They are most commonly called Zack and Kendall, Zendall, or Zen, not the other way around. I know that you feel that the name that should be the lead name in the title of a soap opera couple's article is that of the character who is more popular and/or more prominent, and that we should have the female's name come first more often, like we discussed at the Erica Kane and Dimitri Marick article when it was titled the other way around, but that's not how the Wikipedia naming policy works. I'm not looking to debate this; my opinion on this matter won't change. But I will alert WP:SOAPS to this discussion. Flyer22 (talk) 23:07, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. "Zach and Kendall" seems to be more the common name[1]. And we have the common portmanteau of "Zendall", combining "Zach and Kendall", to describe the couple.[2] Zzyzx11 (talk) 01:28, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment whatever the case, the proposed title should redirect if it isn't the article title. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 23:55, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
