Wikipedia being used and not cited by numerous places[edit]

In looking through the history and trying to fix the claims, I am noticing that many of the sources which I am trying to find to cite the claims are taking wholesale from Wikipedia.

Text existing from 2011 being used by the Aspen Institute for 2013.[1]

Please do not flag this as a copyright violation, they seem to be clearly taking from Wikipedia. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 21:26, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources[edit]

Many of the claims of this article are being mirrored without checking, often taken word for word, from Wikipedia. This has already had a major impact on public perception of Yvo de Boer and threatens to undermine the credibility and integrity of Wikipedia if not all those organizations which took the content, word for word, including some lofty claims that have not yet been cited by reliable sources. The term "reliable" here is rather extreme, given that anything pre-Wikipedia insertion is required to verify the source, barring the actual documents, I see nothing about Beatrix of the Netherlands knighting Yvo de Boer - but other instances of less notable individuals are covered very well. Apologies if this is true, but without evidence, WP:BLP demands its removal. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 21:43, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox inclusion[edit]

I've included Mr. de Boer's position as director of GGGI in the infobox along with his former position at the UN. The infobox officeholder template has been used primarily for government (non-private industry) positions. It is my understanding that Mr. de Boer's position at GGGI would not strictly meet that definition, so I would welcome any correction of this by its removal from the infobox by any editor[s], if it turns out that I was in error in placing it there. Thanks in advance. — SpintendoTalk 01:02, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
